1/144 Nahel Argama Launch Deck WIP
This is a rather fun update. More of a Work in Progress than a finished product, but I was so excited about it I had to share it. Here is the popular Nahel Argama from the acclaimed Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA series. The ship is nothing but launch decks, what with three forward launch decks and five overall catapults. Even the rear of the ship has a large rear deck. Though I am known for large builds I couldn't make the whole ship, just this one veeery long center catapult. though it looks mostly complete, there are a huge number of small details to add, such as exterior paneling and because the deck is going to receive a lot of abuse, I want to encase the deck in a hard clear plastic. Details and final painting on the interior of the hanger are yet to come, but until then, enjoy this enormous pile of awesome!

ReplyDeleteI was always inspired by the scope of the stories and settings in fiction. Gundam really brings that scale home. You can build whole cities entire vessels. It take up a lot of room, but it completes the scene.
